Buyer a new construction home is stressful. Starting with financing and approval, to finding the location and floor plan you want, is a process involving strong emotions. It’s a home and what may be the biggest financial investment of your life.

In the construction process, independent inspections are important. Although the builder will tell you they have “independent” inspectors review your new home before your walk through, their independence is they usually work for a different company who does all their business with the builder. I assist you with referring “new home” specializing inspectors who inspect for cosmetics instead of just mechanical. Those mechanical inspections on pre-owned homes are important but cosmetics are often not important because you are buying the home “as-is.”
